The 2011 Lake George Winter Carnival
Adirondack Mountains is a holiday all year that many people like because of all the beauties of the natural region and all the attractions the region offers. For example, during the winter there is skiing and snowboarding at Gore Mountain, which is classified as one of the best surf spots of snow in upstate New York. And there is a large country skiing and downhill skiing in the region.
One of the highlights each year the Winter Carnival Lake George, held in February. This year marks the 50th anniversary of Carnival, which officially began on New Year with Polar fall. This year, there were about 1,200 swimmers who have registered for the big leap – and many more people who do not register just jump in the water.
However, there is a lag of one month before the resumption of the party. So every weekend in February is full of exciting events for you and your family.
If you missed the Polar plunge and dare to dip their feet in icy water, you can "dive" every weekend during the carnival. Or, if you want to view, can to the beach for three hours on Saturday or Sunday afternoon during February and see the divers.
Now, if you are looking for some activities warm, you can enjoy some tasty samples Chili, chowder, chicken wings, barbecue and cooking competition of local restaurant owners are going to the party. And you and the kids can get a barrel of laughs watching the dependence of the races.

If you are visiting out of state and want to drive an ATV, you should buy a TrailPass to go to New York. But New York is mutual with the records of the ATV out of state, so if your vehicle all land is registered in your state, you can ride in New York.
If you are a snowmobiler in the state need not be TrailPass NY snowmobile, but must be recorded in upstate New York and you should be sure if you want to go sledding there.
